At this time, there is no evidence that companion animals, including pets, can spread COVID-19. On the other hand, it is known that dogs can be infected with the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Therefore out of an abundance of caution, if you are sick, you should restrict contact with pets and other animals, just like you would with other people. Have another member of your household care for your animals while you are sick. Avoid contact with your pet, including petting, snuggling, being kissed or licked, and sharing food. If you must care for your pet or be around animals while you are sick, wash your hands before and after you interact with pets and wear a face mask.
If you are in self-quarantine and cannot come in, we will pick up your cat or dog—free of charge.
Call or contact us through our PetDesk app to schedule boarding. Pets are required to be bathed to remove virus particles on admission. The CDC recommends a minimum two-week quarantine period. Limited space is available, so we are prioritizing existing clients.
