Paoli Vetcare DOVE Program
Advancing Veterinary Education Through Memorial DonationsOffering pet owners a meaningful opportunity to honor their departed pets by giving them an even greater purpose beyond death
At Paoli Vetcare, we believe in the profound bond between humans and their beloved animal companions and understand that saying goodbye to a cherished pet is never easy. We established the Dental Offering for Veterinary Education (DOVE) program to offer pet owners a unique and meaningful opportunity to honor their departed friends by donating their bodies to enhance our veterinary nurses’ dentistry education by allowing them to practice performing non-invasive dental procedures.
Why Donate to DOVE?
By joining Paoli Vetcare in our DOVE program, your selfless donation not only stands as a testament to the love and care that defined your time together — but also means that your pet’s journey does not end with their passing — it lives on through hands-on learning of future healers who will go on to touch countless lives.
As a heartfelt tribute to your pet’s memory, your generosity provides our nursing staff essential hands-on learning experiences — taking dental x-rays, performing dental procedures, cleaning, and polishing pets’ teeth.
DOVE — What to Expect
We understand that the decision to donate your beloved pet’s body to our DOVE program is both sensitive and heartfelt. Rest assured, we honor each animal and client with the utmost respect throughout the entire process. Our dedicated team will ensure that your special companion will always be treated with the utmost care and reverence.
DOVE — Consent
I hereby authorize Paoli Vetcare to donate my deceased pet’s body for teaching purposes. I understand they will be using my pet as an educational resource for veterinary education, and they have my permission to use the body in whatever means necessary to deliver said education. To my knowledge, my pet is free of agents/disease that could harm others. I understand following the educational memorial, my pet will be cremated. I have entered freely into this agreement and feel it is the best choice for me, my family, and anyone who can learn from my pet.
