What to Expect with a New Client Exam

Why Choose Paoli Vetcare for Your Pet?

In addition to being the best reviewed veterinary  hospital on the Main Line — we always take the  time to get the most accurate account of your pet’s problem, conduct a comprehensive physical  examination, and discuss with you the best plan to  diagnose and treat the problem.

Our appointments are 30 long — unlike most other  veterinary hospitals, that only offer 10 or 15 minute  appointments, Paoli Vetcare always schedules  extended appointments. We know that  consistently good care cannot be given under  rushed conditions.

For your convenience — instead of a regular  appointment — you may choose to drop off your pet  for the day. During a drop-off visit, the doctor will  assess your pet, consult with you by phone, and  provide necessary care.

We are always available when our clients pets need  urgent care. You’ll never be told we can’t see you  until tomorrow when your pet needs to be seen by a  vet today. Unexpected visits are often handled as  ‘drop-offs.’

The vast majority of our patients’ medical and  surgical conditions can be cared for at Paoli  Vetcare’s Main Line AAHA-accredited animal  hospital. Occasionally — when it’s in the best  interest of your pet — we’ll refer you to a board certified veterinary specialist with advanced  expertise or equipment.

When a referral is made, we’ll facilitate the transition  by communicating directly with the veterinary  specialist and provide them with detailed medical  records.

We remain available to answer your questions, help  you understand the referral veterinarian’s  recommendations, and guide decisions about  specialty care.

Physicians tired of 7 minute patient visits and the insurance rat race are offering concierge plans for a $1500 – $5000/person/year fee. The fee allows human concierge medical practices to spend quality time with their patients.

In addition to the complaint of the day, doctors have time to examine all body parts as well as discuss wellness, nutrition, exercise, behavioral concerns, mental health and quality of life issues.

“Concierge care without the added expense is the standard care provided every day at AAHA-accredited Paoli Vetcare. Our vets spend at least double the time of nearby vets with our patients— they book 10-15 minutes—we schedule at least 30 minutes for every appointment!
